Chicas in Cupocity - Vallarta
An account of my life in tropical PV. What I like to do, what I like to buy, where I like to eat, dance, where I like to be goofy and all of my guilty pleasures about living and working in charming Puerto Vallarta.

Friday, Lulu and Charreadas
It was birthday, don't ask me my age, let's just say I'm young enough.;)
I'm single, employed, and a lover of life so why not celebrate one more year of possibilities to come.
El Patio de Mi Casa was the starting point with my Club Lulu- girls only club- and we shared our intimate stories over delicious salads and sandwiches, it was too late to order pizza.Bummer. Nevertheless, it was delicious and hanging out with my girlfriends is always a blast. I'm grateful for them. Then, we went to De Santos where the music is always great and the ambience hip. By then, we were joined by the opposite gender and shared cocktails and glasses of wine as we goofed off. Then, on to Barra Bar. This is a classy nightclub that caters to the mid to upper-class locals and nationals. Favorite Spanish songs are consistently playing on a large screen and the vibe is ALIVE. Next day, a charreada with pals Livia and Nicole. A charreada is equivalent to a rodeo... and now I want a horse and a good deal on cocktails. :)

Club Lulu- Puerto Vallarta
This afternoon I met with the manager at La Bode to discuss plans for an upcoming event-details to be revealed soon...hehehe, and tonight I'm headed to Pan y Que to chat with my three of my fave chicks-Alba, Stephanie, and Liz. We get together every Thursday to gossip, complain, laugh, share ideas and toast with a glass of good wine if possible. We started making it a ritual to go salsa dancing at Candela Pura after our chick chatting session as Liz and I are huge addicts and Stephi and Alba are just getting the bug. DJ Rodrigo plays great tunes, but we are always left wishing that more men knew how to dance---ughhh, come on guys! Alba always says something goofy that make me laugh so hard I want to pee. Can't wait to hear what she's gonna say tonight! To Chick Power!

Noche de Tablas-Tsunami
Mmmm, do I love sushi! Has to be colorful and melt in your mouth from freshness. I look forward to my weekly platter of art for my mouth every Tuesday at a little almost corner restaurant in Olas Altas here in Puerto Vallarta called Tsunami. There are a couple of tables for outdoor seating or if you want to seek refuge from the heat go inside. You can eat a variety of rolls and some types of tempura until you're filled with fish delight. The service is timely, attentive and friendly. I feel like every Tuesday I'm treating myself to something special- great friends, great good and everything at reduced prices-simply sushilicous.
